Cutting Through the Noise: 2025 Spring Season at Jazz Cafe Announced

London’s beloved live music institution welcomes the best of Rap, RnB, Soul, Jazz, Electronic, and more to the stage.
The spring season to see performances from Slum Village with an exclusive residency, Jamila Woods, MJ Cole, Bilal, VHOOR and more.
Celebrate alongside female pioneers, with the season launching in collaboration with Momoko Gille and their project ‘Cutting Through The Noise’.
After an unmissable 2024 for Jazz Cafe, Camden’s iconic music hotspot, 2025 is set to welcome an even wider programme of global pioneers and breakthrough artists to its stage. With a diverse line up of Hip-Hop, Soul, and Electronic acts, the season promises a journey through musical artistry.
Kicking off on the 8th March, celebrating the pioneering women in Jazz, with the Madame Jazz Birthday. Expect an evening of London’s top female musicians leading the genre, with a handpicked lineup showcasing the contemporary Jazz scene.
Detroit legends Slum Village take over for a special residency across three nights on 10th, 11th, and 12th April. Known for their breakthrough work with Hip-Hop maestro J Dilla and their US jazz-infused beats, the residency marks a rare chance to experience one of the genre’s most influential groups in an intimate setting.
As the night prevails a series of club nights takeover with DJs and live producers from around the world. Kicking off the bank holiday on 17th April, baile funk producer VHOOR returns to Jazz Cafe alongside special guests. Emerged as one of the leading artists in the Brazilian underground electronic music scene, journey through global club music, heavy bass, afro-latino rhythms and of course, Baile Funk.
On 19th April, Mercury Prize-nominated producer and Garage master MJ Cole presents a live show, sharing his UK Garage sound with classical and electronic elements performed by a full live ensemble. Famed for tracks like "Sincere" and "Crazy Love," the night will see a reimagined showcase of his extensive catalogue.
Chicago’s own Jamila Woods lands on stage on 22nd April, bringing her poetic lyricism and genre-defying RnB to London. With a sound that seamlessly fuses Soul, Hip Hop, and spoken word, her live performances
Heading into May, Neo-Soul visionary Bilal is set to perform. On 3rd May, the Soulquarian icon, known for his collaborations with the likes of Erykah Badu, Common, and D’Angelo have cemented him as one of the most innovative voices in RnB will grace the stage with his unparalleled vocal mastery and soul sounds.
Jazz Cafe launch their spring season in collaboration with Momoko Gille and their project ‘‘Cutting Through The Noise’, celebrating artists breaking through the chaos of everyday life through their musical explorations. Momoko Gill is a self-taught drummer, music producer, songwriter, and vocalist. Inspired by the vibrant South London music scene which led to her multidisciplinary creative landscape, Momoko is celebrating her launch new track No Others alongside the Jazz Cafe.
From showcasing grassroot artists to groundbreaking collectives, the Jazz Cafe’s spring continues to welcome the finest global sounds to the London stage.
